【海外の反応】2期で面白さが跳ね上がるアニメって何がある？
続編で勢いが落ちるアニメは多いですが、さらに輝いてるアニメとなるとどれが挙がるのでしょうか。個人的に気になったのでちょっとお邪魔してきました。

ワンパンマンや約束のネバーランドみたいに強烈な1期だったのに急落するアニメは誰もが思いつくけど、『まあまあ』とか『目も当てられない』状態からの2期以降で各段に良くなったアニメってどんなのがある？
じゃあまずは自分から、キングダムで。
なぜか1期と2期で一緒くたにされることが多いけど、最近シリーズを通しで見てみたら2期で大幅に改善されてるし、あの悩まされてきた酷いCGだってかなりマシになってる。

1期から抜群に面白かったし、2期のシスターズ編に至っては今まで見てきたアニメの中でも一番の気に入り。あの衝撃は今でも心に残ってるよ。

“A Certain Scientific Railgun"
Season 1 is pretty damn good. But season 2 has the Railgun version of the Sisters Arc. And the Railgun Sisters Arc is one of my favorite story arcs I’ve seen, period. That genuinely blew me away and sticks with me to this day

Redditで放送順だからって理由でインデックスを先に見るよう勧められたの今も根に持ってるわ。
シスターズ編の伏線とか結末のネタバレになるし、あの章丸ごと台無しにしてしまう。
I hate so much that someone on reddit suggested I watch the Index version of the Sisters Arc first because it aired first. Index butchered the entire arc and spoils it with none of the buildup or payoff.

以前ここで、続編だとMALスコアがどうなるかの比較一覧を見たことあるけど、CLANNAD AFTER STORYが圧倒的1位だったな。あれはマジで別格。
I saw a post on here once that compared a whole bunch of anime and their sequels MAL score. Clannad After Story was the top and it wasn’t even close. It really is in a league of its own.

ちょうど1期見終わったばかりだよ。2期から格段に面白くなると聞いたからそれでこのスレを思いついたってわけ。
というか1期の時点ですごい良かったしMALスコアはもうちょい高くてもいいと思うんだけどね。
Just finished the first season of this, which is what inspired this topic 'cause I’ve heard it gets significantly better next season.
And this first season was actually pretty good and deserves a bit of a higher rating on MAL imo.

1期は『あしたのジョー』を別舞台で作り直した感じの良作スポーツアニメだった。
2期(NOMAD)からはその設定を引き継ぎながらもスポーツ要素を脇に落として、大人のヒューマンドラマ風に昇華させてる。

The original season was a nicely done Sports anime, reimagining Ashita no Joe in a different setting. Nomad (s2) really seemed to take the setting they established and then run with it, it felt more like a mature character drama that just happened to have some sports on the side.

I know Jjk is super hyped already but season 2 really is incredible gojos arc completely changed it from another shounen to one of my favs

Call of the Night. S1 is a solid show but S2 is way better imo.

ヴィンランド・サガ一択。
正直言うと1期はなかなかに退屈だった。トルフィンが怒る理由はもっともだけど盲目的な怒りまでは共感できなかったから。
なのに2期なんてその年で一番のお気に入りアニメになってるし、それどころか1期の見え方まで良くしてくれた。
目につくすべてを破壊し尽くすような生き方は自分自身にどう返ってくるのか、そこからどう立ち直るかをちゃんと描いてくれたからこそ、説得力がグンと増してる。
Vinland saga, hands down.
I was honestly pretty bored throughout S1, because I struggled to empathize with Thorfinn’s blind rage, as understandable as its source was.
S2 was easily one of my favorite shows of the entire year, and also made S1 better in retrospect. Watching someone destroy everything around him becomes much more compelling when the story actually takes the time to unpack what that does to a person, and how to come back from it.

1期もなかなかの出来栄えだったし、2期は歴代最高クラスといっても過言じゃない。

1期から面白かったのに2期でさらに積み上げてきた。作品特有の味もここで決まったように思う。
Golden Kamuy. Season 1 is good but season 2 is much better and I think really sets the tone of the show.

1期は正直あまり好みではなかったものの、2期から格段に改善されていつしか思い切り楽しんでる自分がいた。
Noragami, really didn’t like season 1 but I thought season 2 was a huge improvement, found myself very much enjoying it

人気度は低いけど魔法少女リリカルなのはだな。
1期より断然面白くなってるし、アクションシーンが増えたりストーリーもありきたりじゃない。これ以降のシリーズは評価が下がってるらしくまだ見てない。
『3月のライオン』
もともと素晴らしかったけど2期ではさらに跳ね上がってる。
Less popular but Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha season 2 is significantly better than the first season. It has a lot more action and a less generic story. Later seasons seem to have worse scores but I haven’t watched them.
March Comes in Like a Lion season 1 was already great, but season 2 is even better.
